Controller
The Controller is a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, responsible for overseeing the financial health and performance of a multi-entity organization, including a national restoration franchising brand, two operational franchise units, a land management company, and two emerging businesses. The Controller leads financial planning, reporting, risk management, and funding strategy to support growth and scalability across the portfolio. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Provide strategic financial leadership across all six business entities. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling activities. Implement and maintain consolidated financial reporting and dashboards. Optimize cash flow, working capital, and treasury management across the portfolio of companies. Lead banking relationships, credit facilities, insurance, and investment strategies. Evaluate financial performances of franchisee and support sustainable growth of the franchising model. Oversee accounting operations, audits, and internal controls to ensure compliance and accuracy. Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability and efficiency through data and KPIs. Manage and develop finance team members to support business needs and succession planning. Support franchise expansion and new business development. Manage to GAAP principles and provide accounting views for Tax, Managerial, and Investors. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA preferred). CPA. 7-10+ years of experience in a senior finance role; multi-entity or franchise experience preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling. Proven success in implementing scalable financial systems and controls. Experience in working with private equity, investors, or lenders. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency (example: QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, etc.). Qvnci experience preferred
