Senior Electrician
We are looking for a full-time Senior Electrician in Kairus, CO 80019. The position requires 5 years of hands-on experience as an electrician or maintenance technician in a commercial or institutional environment. A Master Electrical License is preferred. The pay range is $41.55 per hour. The Senior Electrician/Maintenance Technician will provide operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of secondary components of the electrical distribution and all fixed and non-fixed electrical equipment in a safe and efficient manner. They will also perform a variety of skilled maintenance duties for the site and Maintenance Department. Essential duties include updating work statuses, reading blueprints, constructing and repairing electrical systems, troubleshooting electrical systems, locating cables, cleaning and servicing electrical systems, and responding to emergency problems in the facility. Qualifications include 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in an institutional setting, working knowledge of local, state and the National Electrical Code, Journeyman Electrical License, and Master Electrical License (preferred). The candidate must also have experience working with blueprints, specifications, or models, and be able to lift 50 pounds and perform strenuous labor for extended periods of time. Working conditions may include exposure to high heat, noise, dust, mechanical hazards, dirt, and areas requiring infection control. The candidate must be able to meet deadlines and work all hours, including weekends and nights, as necessary.
