$60.25/yr - $62.25/yr WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Newton, MA.
Job Function
Night Shift. 3x12: 7:15pm - 7:15am. Applies external fetal monitors and interprets fetal heart tracings and uterine activity. Implements appropriate interventions based on fetal heart rate patterns and maternal status during labor. Identifies emergency situations and promptly notifies the provider, considering patient age and condition. Assists physicians or midwives during deliveries.
Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN). Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts. 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty. BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association. Fetal Monitoring Certificate preferred.
