Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday Shift: Day Shift Location: AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach 401 Palmetto St. New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168 The role you'll contribute: Responsible to the Executive Director of Cardiovascular, Neuroscience and Cardiopulmonary Services, this position will assist with the overall planning, organizing, and operational functions and activities for assigned patient care programs / units, to ensure delivery of optimal quality care and organizational effectiveness. The Director of Cardiovascular Services will have 24/7 accountability and responsibility assisting with planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating the delivery of care for safety, effectiveness and cost containment for Cardiovascular Interventional Services, Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Angiography Lab, INR Program, CPU, CVOR, CVOR Holding, and any other Cardiovascular procedural programs that report to the Executive Director of Cardiovascular, Neuroscience and Cardiopulmonary Services. This position has direct responsibility for supervision of the Manager of CVOR and associated Leadership Team of the CVOR, as well as the Manager and associated Leadership team of the Cath Lab, INR Program, Cardiopulmonary ICU (CPU), and the CV PAT and Scheduling Dept. This position indirectly: advises/manages service areas that impact patient care for the Cardiovascular patient population. The Director will evaluate patient care, operational efficiencies, performance methods and employee issues, and make recommendations for improvement. Participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Works with the Executive Director to plan and implement strategies to build service lines, increase market share and provide optimal efficiencies for patients and physicians. This position will oversee Heart & Vascular operations specifically at Center of Excellence but coordinate with other AdventHealth facilities. Effectively collaborate with physicians, peers, staff, and administration to promote interdisciplinary cooperation, and communication. Collaboratively work with service line directors, physician dyad partners, and key physicians with purpose to drive growth. Responsible for creating and executing on Heart and Vascular strategy. Responsible for the expansion of the service line in coordination with other AdventHealth facilities. Maintain Center of Excellence Standards for Heart and Vascular service line for AdventHealth. Ensures effectiveness in day-to-day operations in each department to achieve budget, quality, growth, and people experience.
