The role you'll contribute: Responsible for leading the daily work assignments performed in the Nutrition Services department including food preparation and delivery, catering, sanitation, and stocking. This is a working position and requires the ability to train and orient new staff. Responsible for following Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment Safe Handling Guidelines regarding food safety and sanitation. Will provide excellent customer services when working with patients, visitors, and other staff members. The Nutrition Svcs Lead may perform work in one or more of the following areas: barista, cashiering, dishwashing, floor stock, food preparation, meal assembly and service, meal deliver, sanitation, tray collection. The value you'll bring to the team: Prepare and serve food for hospital patients, employees, physicians, and guests. Prepares grill items and serves on various stations in cafeteria. Prepares cold food items for patient areas as described in standards. Maintain adequate supply of items required for salad bar, patient and unit stocking. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Required qualifications include organizational, verbal interpersonal, customer relations, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, keyboarding (manual), computer (visual), strong communication skills, ability to read, write and speak English, and basic computer skills. Preferred qualifications include high school graduation or equivalent, two years of work experience, and ServeSafe Certification (SERV).
