Hours: Full-Time Position
35 Hours Work Location: 30-30 Thomson Avenue, LIC, NY 11101 Only candidates who are permanent in the Assistant Civil Engineer title or those who are reachable on the Open-Competitive lists (exam #1101 or exam #5015) may apply. The Department of Design & Construction, Division of Infrastructure, is currently seeking Inspectors to join our Construction Management 5
Brooklyn. Successful candidates will report to an Engineer-In-Charge and/or Resident Engineer and conduct technical inspections of construction, repair, and maintenance projects. These projects will involve roadways, sewers, pavements, and sidewalks. Specific responsibilities include assessing the grading, paving, and repaving of streets, connections to house sewers, retaining walls, and the maintenance of water, sewer, and utility manholes. Authorization to work in the United States is required for this position. NYC Department of Design and Construction does not provide sponsorship for international employees.
