RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead hands-on technical execution through daily code reviews, PR validation, and architectural guidance across frontend and backend systems.
- Ensure code quality, performance, test coverage, and maintainability while refactoring legacy code into scalable, modular designs.
- Diagnose and resolve CI/CD build failures, test regressions, and deployment issues to maintain release reliability.
- Operate across a modern full-stack environment (Angular, TypeScript, .NET/C#, Node.js, SQL Server, Cosmos DB, Databricks, Azure).
- Own sprint execution, backlog health, delivery velocity, and defect management across globally distributed teams (US, LATAM, other regions).
- Standardize agile rituals and delivery practices to ensure consistent execution, release readiness, and cross-time-zone alignment.
- Define, track, and act on delivery KPIs including PR throughput, test automation, defect resolution time, velocity, and capacity utilization.
- Partner cross-functionally with QA, Product, Data Science, and DevOps to ensure technical feasibility, test alignment, and deployment stability.
- Champion AI-augmented engineering practices, leveraging AI tools for test generation, performance benchmarking, productivity analysis, and automated reporting.
- Provide technical leadership and people management through mentoring, performance improvement, hiring, onboarding, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
This is a direct-hire opportunity in Atlanta. Work onsite the first 5-6 months, then transition to a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office with 2 days remote (flex days).
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or technical program management, with 3+ years in delivery leadership role in global SaaS and high growth tech companies.
- Strong coding background with ability to review, debug, and optimize production code.
- Deep familiarity with modern web and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, MS Copilot, or internal agentic systems.
- Proven success in managing cross-functional delivery across Engineering groups and coordination with QA and DevOps.
- Proficiency in GitHub, Azure DevOps, Harvest, and performance monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience in high-growth, transformation-stage, or PE-backed SaaS companies.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish (Bonus)
- Exposure to AI agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, or intelligent automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with performance testing, SLA enforcement, and observability practices.
- Experience leading distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures.
