We are looking for a dynamic General Manager to lead our dedicated team at the Hampton Inn & Suites in downtown Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
Responsibilities & Expectations
Handle daily operations and oversee all areas of the hotel including front office, housekeeping, breakfast, maintenance, night audit, guest satisfaction, and sales.
Market the hotel's quality product and services, exceeding guests’ expectations.
Provide sales leadership and implement plans to achieve profitability goals.
Recruit, hire, train and retain top talent for a WOW experience.
Supervise and mentor hotel employees, motivating them as part of a team.
Ensure guests receive prompt and outstanding service.
Coordinate with departments to achieve budgets and build strong working relationships.
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the hotel.
Create the hotel’s annual budget and track performance throughout the year.
Produce and explain monthly financial reports.
Deliver strong financial performance while maintaining guest relations.
Collaborate and learn with other ZMC Hotels General Managers.
Qualifications
Experience in hotel general management, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in revenue management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
Demonstrated ability to build and motivate a team.
Customer‑service orientation with an ability to resolve issues quickly.
