Overview Our Technology Services department is seeking a UKG Ready expert to own our UKG Ready platform end‑to‑end. The UKG Ready Systems Analyst will partner closely with Human Resources and Payroll to implement new modules, enhance day‑to‑day operations, and deliver accurate and actionable reporting to support data‑driven decisions. This person will ensure secure, compliant, high‑availability services and act as the product owner, solutions analyst, and Tier‑2 support for UKG Ready and its integrations with ERP, CRM, benefits, and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

Partner with HR and Payroll to execute the day‑to‑day configuration, maintenance, and serve as the primary subject‑matter expert for UKG Ready, including its core HR, benefit, payroll, time, and scheduling modules.

Oversee security roles and user access permissions. Partner with the HRIS manager and Accounting Director to configure and maintain system workflows, business rules, and ensure segregation of duty access permissions. Maintain environments, transport processes, and documentation (SOPs / config runbooks).

Collaborate with HRIS and Payroll to gather business requirements and design effective system solutions. Configure, monitor CA meal & rest premiums, overtime pay, split shifts, paid absence, CA Sick Pay, regular rate calculations, and pay‑statement content; pay codes, earning/deduction codes, schedules, rounding rules, accruals, holidays/calendars, workflows, and business rules with HR/Legal/Payroll sign‑off. Own UKG time clocks/mobile/kiosk: device provisioning, profiles, firmware, network, geofencing, attestation, and outage response. Ensure appropriate CPRA/CCPA employee data rights, audit evidence, and record retention for payroll/time artifacts. Ensure that the company has appropriate disaster recovery protocols in place for manual time capture and payroll continuity steps if UKG/clock network is down.

Oversee and collaborate with the other key system analysts to provide support on all integrations between UKG Ready and other applications. Ensure the seamless and accurate flow of data through system integrations, including benefit carriers and iPaas/API flows.

Build and maintain data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular system audits and data validation processes and reconciliation. Monitor jobs and remediate errors.

Create custom reports and dashboards using UKG Ready's reporting tools and Advanced Excel with consultation from the HRIS Manager and Accounting Director. Enable self‑service queries for leaders and coach business users on report usage and interpretation. Build and maintain the report catalog, dashboards, and scheduled distributions using UKG reporting tools.

Lead UKG Ready‑related projects, such as new module implementations, system upgrades, and migrations. Track UKG releases; assess impact; plan regression testing and cutovers. Prioritize enhancements, plan releases, and chair a cross‑functional change advisory for HR/Payroll items.

Serve as first‑line support for users and log technical issues with UKG support.

Provide Tier‑2 end‑user support for UKG Ready, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to time/accruals, payroll, benefits (including Open Enrollment), core HR, recruiting, and system functionality.

Partner with the Learning and Development Manager to create and deliver training materials for new and existing users.

Manage and escalation complex issues to senior support staff or UKG as needed.

Ensure that system configurations and payroll processes comply with federal, state, and local labor regulations.

Document system processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and configuration details.

Research, recommend and implement approved process improvements and system add‑ons and/or modules to increase efficiency and enhance the user experience.

Remain abreast of enhancements and updates of the UKG Ready system and inform HR and Payroll stakeholders as well as plan for improvements or implications. Remain abreast of HRIS system trends.

Ensure consistent communication with ERP and CRM leads.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field required.

Minimum of 4 years experience in supporting or implementing UKG Ready required.

Minimum of 4 years experience in systems related to Core HR, Benefits, Time and Payroll required. System knowledge of Recruiting, Compensation, and Advanced Scheduling preferred.

Expertise in UKG Ready configuration, reporting, and maintenance.

Proven knowledge of UKG Ready’s API connectivity/connectors.

Experience with report writing tools such as SQL or other data querying tools.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

A customer‑focused and collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and end‑users.

Understanding of CCPA/CPRA employee data rights.
