Senior Solutions Architect, AI Engineering
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical breadth/depth and strong interpersonal skills. As a Solutions Architect, you will partner with some of the world’s largest financial services companies, AWS Sales, and several other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS services.
About the Role As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS from startups to enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate must be self‑motivated with a proven track record to connect technology to measurable business value. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Roles and Responsibilities
Partner with customers to ensure their long‑term success by helping them harness the power of AWS services.
Formulate and execute a cloud adoption strategy that delights our customers and builds strong relationships that lead to strategic revenue streams.
Become a trusted advisor by gaining deep knowledge of AWS services, design patterns and best practices, and sharing that knowledge with clients and the wider AWS builder community.
Act as the voice of the customer for AWS service teams to enhance the platform.
Work with other Solutions Architects to develop reusable solutions to common business and architectural problems.
Educate customers by leading workshops and hands‑on classes to demonstrate how to use AWS services.
Network and build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customer organizations.
Author and contribute to AWS customer‑facing publications such as whitepapers, blog posts and open source projects, and speak at public events.
Help hire, onboard and train new Solutions Architects via mentorship and builder programs.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
Knowledge of SAP systems and their architecture and infrastructure needs.
Experience working with end user or developer communities.
Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners.
Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private.
Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and building using non‑SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics.
