Base pay range $82,875.00/yr - $138,125.00/yr

The SwOps “Bench Top Engineer” (BTE) / Scanner Simulator Engineer (SSE) will be responsible for defining, designing, implementing, testing, delivering, tracking, and providing status on all Bench Top Task Force’s (BTTF) deliverables. These deliverables include designing, building, modifying, testing, validating, and debugging a variety of the Software Development (SDev) and Software Integration (SInt) Groups’ bench tops, half‑racks, scanner simulators, and stand‑alone test equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Strictly adhere to all ASML and BTTF safety policies.

Support installation of ASML operating systems; Rel‑Server, Raptor Service Laptop, or DVD.

Provide support troubleshooting Linux operating systems.

Assist support networking troubleshooting and setup (DNS, DHCP, IPs, subnets, VLANs, etc.).

Evaluate and provide feedback on proposed BT/SCS hardware modifications/functionality.

Execute, update, and maintain complex test cases and document test results.

Assist with SInt/SDev SPTs to isolate and understand problems and resolve issues.

Collect problems/issues data and report root‑cause findings/resolution to stakeholders.

Provide support creating and maintaining BTTF metrics; BT, half‑rack, and SCS availability/reliability.

Assist creating documentation for custom builds or installation instructions.

Collaborate with multiple teams to organize hardware installations and qualifications.

Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Education and Experience

BSEE, BSME, BSCS, or related Bachelor of Science degree.

Hands‑on experience designing, building, upgrading, maintaining, and debugging complex test equipment desirable.

Python scripting experience creating, modifying, and debugging automated scripts.

Ability to build complex test equipment from assembly schematics and cable overviews.

Familiarity with ASML tools Cerberus, Team Center, Coach, Scanner VDI (for repo access).

Expertise using VOMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, and others.

Experience using documents to qualify/validate complex test systems.

Ability to support, deliver, and provide timely status to management and stakeholders.

Excellent customer‑service skills with ability to work cross‑functionally within ASML.

Experience using power tools and building server racks.

Knowledge in soldering PCB components desired.

Understanding how to build custom cables, dummies, and jumpers.
