Aprio Talent Solutions, Atlanta, Georgia, United States, 30383
Interim Finance Director, Transformation
$100.00/hr - $175.00/hr (Open for discussion).
Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 remote.
This role is with a PE-backed manufacturing organization and sits within the Transformation Office reporting to the VP.
We are seeking a senior, hands‑on finance leader to build structure, rigor, and credibility around value‑creation initiatives during an active transformation period. This is a builder role for someone experienced in private‑equity environments, who understands how EBITDA is created, tracked, challenged, and reported.
This position is ideal for a professional who has worked in a PE‑backed business, is comfortable challenging assumptions, enjoys building structure from scratch, and can deliver measurable results in a 6–9 month window.
Why This Role Is Worth Your Time
High‑visibility role working closely with executive leadership and PE stakeholders
Ownership of EBITDA realization tracking, not just forecasts
Opportunity to build KPI frameworks and financial governance where structure is still evolving
Short‑term, high‑impact engagement with real decision‑making authority
Hands‑on work for operators who still like being in the data
What You’ll Own
Design and implement financial KPI frameworks for transformation initiatives, including baselines, assumptions, and measurement methodologies
Build and standardize EBITDA, sales uplift, and cost‑savings tracking models across initiatives
Lead the monthly transformation reporting cycle, consolidating inputs, validating results, and preparing leadership‑level reporting
Partner with FP&A and accounting to ensure alignment between initiative claims and actual financial results
Support CAPEX evaluation, including ROI modeling, payback analysis, and post‑investment benefit tracking
Act as the financial partner to initiative owners across operations, supply chain, commercial, and corporate functions
Drive accountability, data quality, and on‑time reporting across workstreams
Personally build and maintain Excel‑based models and analyses as needed
Must‑Haves
10+ years of finance experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
Prior experience in a private‑equity‑backed company (portfolio company, carve‑out, or value creation office)
Strong understanding of EBITDA bridges, initiative validation, and benefit realization
Proven CAPEX modeling, ROI analysis, and post‑investment tracking experience
Advanced Excel skills with a hands‑on approach
Comfort influencing senior leaders and operators without direct authority
Ability to move quickly, create structure, and operate in ambiguous environments
Nice to Have
Experience in a formal Transformation Office or Value Creation team
Multi‑site manufacturing exposure
Direct interaction with PE sponsors or operating partners
Experience improving or automating recurring reporting processes
Seniority Level Director
Employment Type Contract
Job Function Accounting/Auditing and Finance Manufacturing
