We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Packaging Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical team in the development, design, build, and test of electronic modules and assemblies for our advanced radar systems.
Location:
Marlborough, MA (Onsite) Security Clearance:
U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
Develop technical solutions across the product life cycle, including proposal, design, manufacture, integration, and test of electronics and power module packaging for phased‑array radars.
Define mechanical outlines, construction details, connector specifications, and assembly drawings, supporting electrical/RF layout and producing final technical data packages.
Implement transition‑to‑production practices and lead design releases into production.
Conduct complex tolerance analyses to ensure form, fit, and function meet design intent.
Exercise independent judgment to determine technical objectives with minimal supervision.
Coordinate with senior personnel across organizations to resolve significant technical matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of five (5) years of mechanical design experience.
Proven experience in electronic or power packaging, hardware design for military or commercial applications, and GD&T.
Experience with CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D solid modeling software.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master’s) may be considered as a waiver of up to 5 years of experience.
