Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $215,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities Construction Planning & Execution
Coordinate, schedule, and supervise all on‑site construction activities.
Review and understand all construction drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes of work.
Develop and manage short‑term and long‑term schedules in collaboration with the project management team.
Plan work sequences for subcontractors and field teams to ensure efficient and safe progress.
Quality Assurance & Control
Monitor the quality of workmanship and adherence to specifications, building codes, and high‑end finish standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and issue corrective actions where deficiencies are found.
Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, RFIs, and progress photos.
Lead site coordination meetings and act as the primary on‑site point of contact.
Supervise, coach, and mentor assistant superintendents, field engineers, and labor staff.
Maintain positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and client representatives.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies and OSHA standards.
Conduct and document toolbox talks, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and regular site safety audits.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard‑free site at all times.
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
Represent the company professionally in all interactions with owners, designers, and consultants.
Provide timely updates to clients on progress, schedule changes, and issue resolution.
Participate in walkthroughs and project closeout procedures.
Qualifications & Competencies Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 10 years of superintendent experience on luxury or high‑end residential projects.
Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality level.
Deep familiarity with custom residential construction methods, finishes, and sequencing.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
Technical Proficiency
Strong understanding of local building codes, DOB/permit processes, and inspection protocols.
Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Buildertrend).
OSHA 30 Certification required; additional safety training preferred.
Leadership & Communication Skills
Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in representing Reis to clients and stakeholders.
Clear, timely, and respectful communication skills—verbal and written.
Decision‑Making: Ability to make sound, data‑informed decisions in high‑pressure environments.
Accountability: Takes ownership of site operations, safety, and deliverables.
