Director, Global Compensation Lead – KPMG US
Lead the design, implementation, and administration of KPMG’s global compensation programs for more than two thousand secondees, ensuring alignment with member‑firm compensation principles, local regulations, and market trends.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and administer global compensation programs for over two thousand secondees in alignment with KPMG’s business objectives and member‑firm principles.
Adapt compensation frameworks to align with global business objectives, member‑firm guidelines, local laws, industry standards, and market trends.
Collaborate closely with local HR and compensation teams to ensure consistent application of compensation principles and policies across global locations.
Work with the Finance Business Planning team to forecast and manage the compensation budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
Use advanced analytics to evaluate global compensation trends and organizational requirements, providing data‑driven insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum twelve years of recent experience in global compensation management, focusing on strategic planning, modeling, implementation, and transformation across multiple international markets.
Master’s degree or CCP certification preferred; Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field required.
Experience with HRIS and compensation management software (e.g., SuccessFactors), proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Power BI.
Deep understanding of compensation principles and practices in a global professional services or similar complex organization.
Exceptional communication, change‑management, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
Superior consultative, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to think strategically and link action plans to critical business priorities.
