Proactively develops, leads and drives the execution of regulatory and clinical strategy with a focus on efficient, rapid and timely approval of using creativity and innovation while balancing the Hospital needs with regulatory compliance. Overall responsibility for leading quality initiatives, including the setting of quality goals, managing and improving all aspects of patient quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborates and interacting with the Executive and Leadership teams to ensure Hospital objectives are aligned and that the Hospital is performing to operational objectives. Provides management and leadership to the Regulatory function in the development and implementation of regulatory strategies and processes. Utilizes, integrates, and interprets data to assist the Hospital in its improvement efforts, and promote optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with Senior Management to develop strategic quality initiatives. Facilitates and directs organizational wide risk management program to ensure compliance with statutory mandates, regulatory requirements and accreditation standards of professional organizations. Acts as an active member of peer review committees; analyzes cases and outcome data and collaborates with physicians to promote and improve practice and optimal patient outcomes. Actively contributes to and works toward hospital wide improvement in meeting core measures, patient safety and service excellence goals. Continuously evaluates work process and design; understands role in ensuring quality/performance improvement, productivity, and service delivery to meet stakeholder needs. Ensures and contributes to continuity of care through demonstrated use of interdisciplinary team approach to patient care. Collaborates, shares pertinent information with members of the healthcare team regarding the risk management program. Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2-5 years of Quality experience 3-5 years of experience in a leadership/management role Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare is preferred Certified Professional in Quality Healthcare preferred Current IL RN licensure Basic life support Certification Seniority Level
