About the Role Northwest Eyes, a nationally recognized ophthalmic medical and surgical practice, seeks an experienced ASC Manager (RN) to lead our high‑performance ophthalmic Ambulatory Surgery Center in Seattle. What You’ll Lead Operational Excellence
Own daily ASC operations: surgical schedule, staffing models, room turnover, vendor coordination, and real‑time issue resolution
Maintain smooth, on‑time case flow with zero compromise on safety
Team Leadership
Build, coach, and retain a strong perioperative team across pre‑op, OR, PACU, and sterile processing
Set clear expectations, reinforce standards, and hold accountability
Clinical Quality & Safety
Drive a robust, data‑driven QAPI program
Lead infection prevention, risk management, and incident follow‑up; reduce variation and close gaps before they become problems
Sterilization & Infection Prevention
Ensure airtight instrument reprocessing and infection prevention workflows
Maintain continuous readiness – not reactive, fixed
Regulatory & Survey Readiness
Maintain compliance with CMS Conditions for Coverage, accreditation standards, and Washington ASC regulations
Physician & Financial Partnership
Serve as the operational counterpart to surgeons – anticipating needs and standardizing where it matters
Partner with leadership on labor management, supply chain discipline, and budget performance
Requirements What You Bring – Required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to practice in Washington State
3+ years of ASC experience with direct leadership accountability
Strong command of OR standards, sterile technique, staffing models, and throughput
Demonstrated competency in compliance, QAPI, infection prevention, and survey readiness
CPR/AED certification (ACLS preferred)
Strongly Preferred
Ophthalmic ASC leadership experience (cataract, refractive, retina workflows)
Familiarity with ophthalmic instrumentation, lasers, microscopes, and surgeon workflow needs
Core Strengths

Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
