About the Job You have been working your way up in the restaurant world for awhile. Maybe you even have a little college under your belt on the subject. Whatever the case may be, you want to manage a restaurant. Domino’s Pizza has thousands of stores worldwide and we are looking for a General Manager to lead one of our Southaven, MS locations. We offer a fun and challenging environment where you can learn, grow, and eventually move up within the organization.
Job Requirements and Duties You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must lead by example and adhere strictly to company policy and procedures. Your responsibilities include: Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and standards, delivering great customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing and profitability.
Advancement Our team members often begin as delivery drivers and grow to become franchise owners, their DM at Enterprise level.
Qualifications - Operate all equipment and stock ingredients - Prepare product and receive/ process telephone orders - Take inventory and complete associated paperwork - Clean equipment and facility daily - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Math skills to calculate change and handle cash accurately - Ability to enter orders using a computer or touch screen
Physical Requirements
Standing most of the time at a standing position
Walking on surfaces such as ceramic tile or linoleum; short distances
Paperwork at a desk or table
Lifting bulk deliveries up to 50 pounds; loading up to 72 high shelves
Carrying items such as pizzas, cans, dough trays up to 12 pounds per tray
Pushing and pulling dollies up to 30 units requiring 7.5 pounds of force
Climbing stairs or ladders to change signs or perform maintenance
Forward bending, squatting, and reaching regularly when stocking and assembling pizza
Eye‑hand coordination required for shaping dough, using peel and cutter, and assembling boxes
Additional Information - Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle is required for delivery duties.
