Job Summary The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing overall project management support for several small to medium projects or one very large project. The role includes supervision and technical management on construction project sites from bid preparation through job close‑out documentation to the customer. The Senior Project Manager is ultimately responsible for all major responsibilities and essential job functions, delegating as appropriate, but retaining final accountability.

Minimum Qualifications

A working knowledge of electrical construction typically acquired through completion of a five‑year electrical apprentice program.

Five or more years’ experience in a project‑management position in the construction industry.

Demonstrated financial analytical skills.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Proficiency in using a computer and Microsoft Office.

Tactful and professional demeanor, able to interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors and others.

Self‑motivated, proactive and an effective team player.

Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.

Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance.

Opportunity for travel may be available.

Job Responsibilities

Provides safety leadership.

Contract administration.

Project set‑up.

Site labor coordination and scheduling.

Budgeting and estimating.

Documentation/submittals/O & M’s.

Coordinate purchasing and sub‑contracts.

Production tracking.

Quality control/quality assurance.

Project cost control and billing.

Project cost to complete/forecasting.

Project change orders.

Project closeout.

Internal/external communication.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Compensation & Benefits

Offering $165,000 – $180,000.

Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Company‑paid term life insurance and AD&D coverage.

PTO accrual of up to 120 hours in a full year (subject to plan terms thereafter).

Seven company‑paid holidays.

Additional Information
