Your Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary client contact for strategy and execution engagements.
Translate client needs into project tasks and deliverables.
Manage day‑to‑day problem‑solving and team analytical activities.
Act as a liaison between consulting team members, EY-Parthenon partners, and clients.
Mentor, inspire, and develop team staff.
Support business growth by working with partners on new opportunities, pitch meetings, proposals, and the sales process.
Lead teams on a variety of client issues, including long‑term strategies, M&A diligence, cost reduction, and new business ventures.
Skills And Attributes For Success
Play a leadership role in growing the EY-Parthenon business.
Define the objective and scope of strategy engagements in collaboration with partners.
Lead teams in both commercial due diligence and strategy engagements.
Develop business strategies using market analysis, customer research, macroeconomic forecasting, and portfolio optimization.
Drive business development activities in healthcare and across EY-Parthenon.
Manage, develop, and mentor junior team members at all levels.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree with outstanding performance and at least 8 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree with approximately 7 years of related experience.
Experience managing business strategy for healthcare firms in the provider or payer space (biopharma experience is relevant but not sufficient).
Experience managing M&A strategic diligence projects in complex environments.
Strong quantitative skills to supervise data analysis, interpret output, and generate insights.
Ability to assess industry, products, markets, competitors, and customers to identify risks and opportunities.
Proficiency in English, with strong listening, reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel and work beyond standard hours when necessary.
Ideally, you’ll also have
An MBA with 3–6 years of post‑graduate experience in consulting, operations, or investment banking.
Previous management consulting experience.
Ability to lead teams on complex assignments and develop individual team members.
Knowledge of leveraging AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
