Position Summary Director - Molecular Science Liaison - Mid Atlantic

Caris Life Sciences is pioneering precision medicine and constantly seeks passionate individuals to drive scientific dialogue with the oncology community. This role builds and leads a regional team of Molecular Science Liaisons (MSLs) that communicate the value of our Caris Molecular Intelligence (CMI) to physicians, scientists, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

Manage the MSL team day‑to‑day and lead recruitment, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Provide input on national staffing plans and training/enablement strategies to keep MSLs updated on company technology.

Track MSL activity, customer interactions, and progress against metrics.

Act as conduit of feedback between the medical community and Caris regarding product improvements, research needs, clinical trials, and therapeutic advancements.

Deliver medical‑scientific education and support to increase Market awareness of CMI at physician sites, conferences, and national events.

Attend POA/Commercial pitch meetings and relationship‑building onsite meetings.

Promote CMI across the United States in collaboration with Sales, POA, and Marketing teams.

Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings.

Maintain knowledge of therapeutic oncology literature for effective customer engagement.

Assist with special projects and sales support as required.

Train field speakers as part of the Caris Speaker’s Bureau.

Lead regional speaking engagements—roundtables, grand rounds, tumor boards, and trade shows.

Provide commercial input on marketing materials to reflect the current molecular landscape.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D., PharmD, or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular and cellular biology—or equivalent training and experience.

Minimum 3 years of management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a commercial pharmacy or laboratory environment.

Prior field experience working with customers and/or sales organizations.

Required Training

All job‑specific, safety, and compliance training as assigned.

Annual Hiring Range $200,000 – $216,000 (actual offer varies by location, experience, education, and skill level).
