Job Description Senior Consultant (full‑time; multiple openings) needed in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. to analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems. Test and validate Bluetooth and Wi‑Fi features for improved peer‑to‑peer network connectivity. Perform functional and performance testing for Quick Start feature, focusing on Backup and Restore functionality. Validate and test Quick Share and Instant Connection Sharing features, working with various sharing protocols. Test Wi‑Fi Aware, Wi‑Fi Direct, Bluetooth, and BLE technologies to ensure seamless connectivity. Work with Mobly for test automation, including bug fixes, improvements, and unit test case development. Manage defects, including bug reporting, debugging, triaging issues with developers, performing root cause analysis, and re‑evaluating developed fixes. Validate Google Wi‑Fi Provisioning feature, working on both device‑side and cloud‑side functionality. Develop and execute detailed test plans covering functional, stress, and negative scenarios. Conduct interoperability testing with Android devices. Perform competitive tests for Apple and Android phones, researching Ultra‑Wide Band testing and airdrop features. Carry out stress, stability, and negative testing to ensure system stability.
Qualifications Must have a Bachelor’s Degree (or Foreign Equiv) in Computer Science, Engineering (any), a related field, plus four (4) years of software testing or connectivity testing experience. Must have one (1) year of software testing or connectivity testing work experience with any one of the following skill sets:
Python, Wireshark, and Linux;
Shell Scripting, VMware, and Jira; or
Android, TCP, and VLAN.
In lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept three (3) years of post‑secondary study in any field, plus three (3) years of software testing or connectivity testing experience. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs. International travel not required. Travel not to exceed 5% / year for meetings and to complete assigned projects of varying lengths. Telecommuting may be permitted as needed.

Capgemini discloses salary range information in compliance with state and local pay transparency obligations. The base salary range for this role is
$89,045.00 - $178,290.00/year . This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission.
