About The Role As an Account Executive, you will be a key player in our Field Sales organization, focusing on net new revenue. You will guide new customers toward leaving legacy platforms and adopting Workday’s enterprise cloud.
Develop strategy for prioritizing, targeting, and closing key opportunities in assigned territory
Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre‑sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
Initiate and support sales of Workday solutions within Medium Enterprise prospects and share Workday value propositions
Maintain accurate and timely customer/prospect, pipeline, and service forecast data
About You Basic Qualifications
4+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C‑level executives from a field sales position
4+ years of experience negotiating deals with C‑suite executives to close opportunities
4+ years of experience engaging in a programmatic approach to generate and develop leads within your territory
Other Qualifications
Proven track record in a high‑velocity sales cycle, including prospecting for a portion of opportunities
Understanding of the strategic competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs
Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Workday Pay Transparency Statement The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role‑specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $137,300 USD - $167,800 USD
Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $137,300 USD - $167,800 USD
Our Approach to Flexible Work With Flex Work, we’re combining the best of both worlds: in‑person time and remote. We expect to spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field.
