Position Overview
Intellibus Consulting is a boutique IT consulting services firm specializing in AI & Data driven transformations for leading companies looking to build Intelligent Business Platforms. We are hands-on builders and we take pride in the fact that EVERYONE rolls up their sleeves in delivery. We are looking for Platform Engineering specialists, who are strong engineers/architects, with experience and desire to accelerate their career in IT Strategy and direction setting for large platform companies. Client engagement activities include but are not limited to framing issues, problem-structuring, optimizing client processes, developing go-to-market strategies, and change management. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced consultant in technology consulting, project management, and business processes within the finance and banking industries. Responsibilities
Thrive in ambiguity and help lead our clients and teams to a strategic direction that will achieve the best possible outcome. Co‑lead projects through all stages of the project life cycle for both IT Strategy formulation and the early stages of Implementation projects. Develop and manage a small team responsible for creating high quality pen & paper technology platform strategy assessments. Manage and conduct Application Stability Reviews across incidents, architecture, code, deployment, testing, governance, networks, monitoring, and data layers. Mentor our teammates and our client partners. Create client‑facing deliverables in the form of high‑quality decks/slides (Google Slides, PowerPoint) to capture requirements, structure insights, and present strategies. Write clear, structured, and professional technical documentation, including assessments, remediation plans, and process guidelines. Manage large‑scale fintech programs with tight deadlines, ensuring delivery excellence under pressure. Proactively contribute to business, IP, and practice development by identifying opportunities, contributing best practices, and creating new frameworks. Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks, maintaining accurate and timely project reporting. Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, fostering long‑term partnerships. Serve as a subject matter expert on technology and business processes in the finance and banking sectors. Desired Skills & Experience
Education: MBA preferred, with strong analytical, quantitative, and conceptual problem‑solving skills. Experience: 10–15 years in management consulting, IT consulting, or technology strategy, ideally in financial services. Prior experience at a top‑tier management consulting firm is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), IT governance frameworks (COBIT), and ITIL/ITSM standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior client stakeholders. Strong proficiency in MS Office / GSuite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Slides) and project management tools. Proven ability to design technical documentation, project plans, guidelines, and governance processes. High integrity, collaborative mindset, and strong interpersonal skills for working across diverse teams and cultures. Must‑have skills
Strong technical writing ability to produce structured, professional documentation. Experience managing large fintech programs under tight timelines. Domain Expertise: Hands‑on experience across several of the following areas: Incidents Review, Architecture Review, Code Review, Deploy & Environment Review, Testing Review, Governance Review, Network Review, Monitoring Review & Data Layer Review.
