What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Model, prototype, and define architecture and algorithms for neuromorphic processor technology
Collaborate strategically with architects, principal investigators, and research leads across Intel and affiliated groups
Drive the transformation of research advancements into real‑world products
Contribute to the development of software for high‑performance numerical, parallel, and AI applications
Participate in the advancement of state‑of‑the‑art technologies in the AI market
What is Required (Qualifications)
PhD in Computational Neuroscience, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field
20+ years of combined industry and academic experience
5+ years of experience in computer science, architecture, or algorithms research with at least 10 peer‑reviewed publications
5+ years of software development experience for high‑performance numerical/parallel/AI applications3+ years of experience developing for specialized architectures, such as neuromorphic, FPGA, or HPC
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Publications in AI/ML algorithms and architecture
Experience in product development from technology research to customer deployment
3+ years of hardware architecture and design experience
3+ years of management experience
