Position Overview This role is ideal for an experienced litigator who can take ownership of cases and serve as a trusted advisor to clients.
The Senior Commercial Litigation Attorney will manage matters from inception through resolution and play a meaningful role in litigation strategy, mentoring, and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of commercial and complex civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation
Appear in state and federal courts and manage matters independently with minimal oversight
Develop and execute litigation strategy aligned with client goals and case realities
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, practical guidance
Mentor junior attorneys and collaborate closely with firm leadership and staff
Maintain high standards of professionalism, preparation, and client service
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school and active Texas Bar admission
Significant experience in commercial or complex civil litigation
Strong courtroom presence and command of litigation strategy
Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to manage a demanding caseload while maintaining attention to detail
Business‑minded approach to litigation and client relationships
