Key Responsibilities

Handle a variety of business litigation and employment defense matters

Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda

Participate in all phases of litigation, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials

Represent clients in court and arbitration proceedings

Assist with case strategy and client communication

Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters

Qualifications

J.D. and licensed to practice in California

Minimum 3 years of experience, with a focus on commercial litigation and/or employment defense

Experience in all stages of litigation, including depositions, law and motion, and trial preparation

Strong legal research and writing skills

Military or JAG legal experience considered instead of private practice litigation
