Clinical Nurse II - FT - Days - Cancer Clinic @LG
El Camino Health is looking for a dedicated Clinical Nurse II to provide high-quality care in our Cancer Clinic lobby (LG). The role requires a full‑time commitment, with day shifts of 10 hours and a bi‑weekly schedule of 80 hours.
Base pay range $89.40/hr - $116.78/hr
Job Description Applies the nursing process and theories, as well as principles of psycho‑social and physical sciences, in assessing, planning, diagnosing, implementing, evaluating, and modifying patient care. Strives for quality outcomes and innovative practice in accordance with the California Nursing Practice Act and departmental policies. The Clinical Nurse is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction and for care consistent with the ANA Code of Ethics and the ANA Bill of Rights for Nursing. Provides collaborative care with other disciplines to ensure optimal, individualized patient outcomes. Supports a healing environment and service excellence.
Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Experience : Recently finished at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience in a Cancer (Infusion) Center.
License/Certifications :
Registered Nurse License – California Board of Registered Nursing
Basic Life Support – American Heart Association
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Communicate effectively in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and mathematics.
Organize, prioritize and delegate tasks appropriately.
Ages of Patients Served : 1 year of age or greater.
Salary Range : $89.40 - $116.78 USD per hour.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions : Medium work—standing majority of shift, lifting up to 35 lbs. frequently; involves sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for qualified individuals with disabilities.
