Overview This role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations in Speech, Language, Hearing, and Communication to assess student needs.
Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data through interviews and observations to inform assessments.
Collaborate with school personnel and families to support student progress.
Implement school and district practices promoting learning and evidence-based interventions.
Assess students using appropriate tools, diagnose speech/language disorders, and develop individualized therapy plans.
Provide direct speech‑language therapy, including individual and group sessions, aligned with IEP goals.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, including IEPs and 504 plans, and facilitate student placement.
Support diversity, adhere to professional ethics, and maintain competence.
Ensure student safety, complete required reports, and present assessment findings professionally.
Additional duties as assigned.
