Escrow Transaction Management Lead - C13
Drive success in a fast‑paced Escrow environment, serving Citi Wealth clients nationwide. As an Escrow Transaction Management Lead, you will manage transactions from inception to completion, ensuring compliance and mitigating risk while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities
Support Escrow Product Specialists on all aspects of the escrow end‑to‑end deal process for M&A transactions where Citi Wealth is acting as Escrow Agent.
Work closely with all members of the Escrow Product Team and Escrow Service Team to provide an exceptional Client Experience to Wealth‑At‑Work clients nationwide.
Maintain direct contact with clients and their attorneys, accountants, third‑party vendors, representatives, etc.
Deal with complex issues and challenges as they arise.
Act as a source of technical expertise within the team, keeping abreast of market developments and offering support and guidance.
Interact daily with Private Bankers, Banker Associates, Service Officers, and other internal constituents as necessary.
Contribute to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and workflow required to set up and service Escrow deals. Evaluate moderately complex and variable issues and apply appropriate problem‑solving skills in the development of solutions.
Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in escrow agent transactions or settlement funds preferred.
Strong understanding of the escrow and paying agent end‑to‑end lifecycle management with solid product expertise.
Strategic thinking and creative problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Exceptional project management and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal, client‑relationship management, and communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; JD, MBA, or other advanced degree is a plus.
Ability to travel domestically as required.
Commitment to ethical conduct and sound business practices.
Benefits and Compensation Position based in San Francisco, California. Full‑time, with a salary range of $157,040.00 – $235,560.00.
