About the Role The Senior Architect leads, coordinates, and controls the entire design process—from Feasibility and Concept through to construction completion—ensuring that all consultants deliver solutions aligned with the brand standards, commercial strategy, technical requirements, sustainability goals, and regulatory obligations. The role ensures design quality, cross-discipline coordination, scope clarity, and the timely delivery of drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Responsibilities
Lead the design process from Feasibility → Concept → Schematic → Detailed Design → Construction Completion
Translate brand standards, product strategy, and business requirements into clear and actionable design
briefs
Select, appoint, and manage Design consultants, Peer reviewers, and Specialist advisors
Ensure full coordination across Architectural, Structural, MEP, Interior, Landscape, Façade, Traffic, and any other required disciplines
Drive design schedules, deliverable matrices, and design freeze milestones
Ensure all designs comply with global brand standards, regulatory requirements, constructibility criteria, and sustainability targets
Control design changes, prevent scope creep, and evaluate consultant claims
Maintain continuous alignment with Commercial, Development, Project Management, Procurement, and Operations teams
Lead value engineering efforts without compromising brand intent or customer experience
Provide design support during tendering, construction, and handover stages as required
Ideal Background
Bachelor’s in Architecture or a related field
12+ years of experience in design coordination or design management, with proven experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, hospitality or mixed-use projects
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and project management software.
Knowledge of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192) and LOD specifications
Strong knowledge of building systems: architectural, structural, MEP, façade, sustainability, fire/life safety
Excellent understanding of design codes, international standards, and coordination methodologies
Familiarity with global sustainability frameworks (LEED, BREEAM, WELL)
Strong commercial awareness (contracts, variations, design scope, fees, deliverables)
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Experience working across multiple regions or regulatory environments preferred
Professional registration (RIBA, AIA, ARB, Chartered Architect, or equivalent) preferred
