Summary This project manager will work closely with the PI overseeing multiple projects, including a large industry-funded project. Responsibilities include project administration, planning and implementing study protocols directly with the PI, overseeing several staff members, and coordinating study related activities such as designing data collection instruments, programming study databases, organizing meetings, assisting with hiring and training new staff, and managing internal review board protocols. The role requires independent work and involves regulatory approvals, study logistics, and long-term data management.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities Serve as the project manager for a clinical research and epidemiology lab, working closely with the PI, clinical research coordinators, junior faculty, trainees, postdocs, and collaborators. Coordinate clinical trials and observational studies, including planning, regulatory approval, logistics, and implementation. Supervise staff recruitment, study visits, and participant communications. Provide strategic insight on project development. Orient, train, and coach research assistants and students, and coordinate schedules across multiple projects. Act as the primary point of contact for questions regarding studies and IRB protocols. Contribute to progress and regulatory reports, instrument development, manuscript writing, literature research, protocol revisions, data management systems, and data collection from subjects. Conduct surveys and focus groups with patients. Communicate regularly with PIs and the research team. Perform all related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in a related field required. Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience Project management experience 2-3 years required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.

Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and engagingly.

Proficiency in project management software.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
