Clinical Educator RN - Hospice of the Central Coast
Under the leadership of the department director, the Clinical Educator is responsible for providing formal and informal education programs for the staff of Hospice of the Central Coast and Westland House with planning assistance from the Management Team of the respective departments. The Clinical Educator possesses a broad scope of knowledge and skills to facilitate improved patient outcomes and improved staff performance in the clinical setting. The Clinical Educator possesses the skills and knowledge to competently provide the appropriate services to patients and staff. Experience: No less than 2 years in the last 5 years of med/surg nursing and/or experience in formal and informal teaching of adult learners. Education: MSN Preferred. Minimum of BSN or equivalent. Licensure/Certifications: State of California RN license required. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required. Assigned Work Hours: 0800-1630. Position Type: Regular. Pay Range (based on years of applicable experience): $72.45 to $96.90. Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $5.50. Hourly Night Shift Differential: $8.00. Equal Opportunity Employer.
