About the Position
Haight Brown & Bonesteel LLP is seeking an attorney with significant, hands‑on experience in construction defect litigation on the defense side to join our Sacramento office. This is a full‑time, in‑office position. We are not seeking applicants who want to work remotely; instead, we are looking for candidates who are eager to build a long‑term career at the firm and grow into partnership after demonstrating consistent performance, leadership, and contribution. Responsibilities
Manage all phases of construction litigation, including taking the lead in depositions of plaintiffs and expert witnesses. Draft and respond to discovery and pleadings, prepare and argue motions, and independently manage case files. Handle second–chair trial experience (a plus). Prioritize and manage multiple cases in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Qualifications
Substantial experience managing construction litigation. Strong research and writing skills. Comfortable with discovery, pleadings, motions and trial preparation. Compensation
$150,000 - $180,000
per year, plus a
$20,000
annual bonus for those who meet the firm’s quarterly billable hour requirements. Benefits
