A law firm seeks a Senior Employment Law Attorney to join their Employment Law group in Pleasanton, CA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience advising employers on employment law issues and litigation, including defense against various claims. A partial book of portable business is preferred.
Duties
Provide expert legal counsel and representation in employment law litigation.
Assist clients with defense against FEHA, Title VII, and related claims.
Defend class and PAGA action cases.
Handle trade secret and unfair competition actions.
Defend wage and hour claims.
Represent clients before state and federal administrative agencies.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Actively pursue business development opportunities.
Present employment law trainings and seminars for clients.
Supervise and mentor associates.
Requirements
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in the State Bar of California.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in employment law litigation.
Proven track record in handling complex employment law matters.
Strong analytical, negotiation, consulting, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
