Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be handling a wide range of labor and employment law defense matters. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in handling employment-related claims and litigation, advising clients on various labor and employment issues, and developing and implementing employment policies and procedures.

Salary range: $150,000.00/yr - $175,000.00/yr.

Responsibilities

Representing clients in labor and employment-related litigation, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee misconduct.

Advising clients on various labor and employment issues, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Defending clients against claims brought under the Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) and the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).

Developing and implementing employment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Conducting investigations into allegations of employee misconduct and providing legal advice and recommendations to clients based on the findings.

Negotiating and drafting employment agreements, separation agreements, and other employment-related documents.

Providing training and education to clients on labor and employment law issues.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Admission to California state bar and in good standing.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and employment law, with a focus on defending clients against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee misconduct.

Proven experience with PAGA and FEHA claims.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws and regulations.

Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.

A commitment to providing high-quality legal services and achieving client satisfaction.
