Senior Territory Account Executive We are seeking a Senior Territory Account Executive who is responsible for maximizing revenue, developing sales for retail business within an assigned territory, and promoting MoneyGram Products to new and existing retail partners. The Senior Territory Account Executive is also responsible for developing and executing sales plans, coordinating efforts with territory partners in a team environment, accurately completing routine reports and being compliant with regulatory and company guidelines.

What you will get to do:

Prospect and generate new revenue sales by signing in new retail locations and supporting sales ramp up to add value to the MoneyGram Business.

Promote MoneyGram POS and Products that deliver services such as Money Transfer, Express Payments, Money Orders and digital services.

Maintain and grow sales and revenue from the existing portfolio.

Keep a weekly in-person visit plan to maintain sales and drive revenue growth. Visiting at least 35 retailers per week. Report each visit/call in the MG partner profile.

Meet and exceed key performance indicators, sales call/visits activity, wire sales targets, revenue targets and partner activation targets.

Collaborate cross-functionally with inside sales and internal teams to leverage cross-selling opportunities, address cases and maximize product offering.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of MoneyGram products (money orders, money transfers, bill payments, and prepaid cards) to further educate business owners and decision makers.

Maintain an up-to-date database to document sales call information, trends, future call objectives, sampling data and overall sales performance. Use all available data and reporting to identify growth opportunities within sales territory.

Who you are:

Education:

BA/BS degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

5+ years’ experience in a field sales role, selling and servicing retail customers.

Demonstrated expertise in independently planning, managing and executing sales strategies.

Bilingual – Spanish is a must.

Proven track record in sales, with a demonstrated ability to increase network expansion/volumes.

Negotiation skills.

Able to commute 80% of the time.

Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer/client relationships and identifying opportunities to improve business success for both parties.

Prior exposure in presenting product/service opportunities to clients/customers.

First-class interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain credible relationships with agents in person and over the telephone.

Strong presentation skills – ability to present to prospective agents in a professional format.

Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize own workload and liaison with a geographically dispersed team.

Excellent problem‑solving skills – able to effectively and proactively identify and analyze problems and find appropriate solutions.

Commercial acumen – able to work with key business partners to maximize business capacity for all parties.

Able to work in a culturally diverse environment and be sensitive to cultural differences.

Computer literate – able to use Microsoft suite of packages.

Must have your own vehicle.

Location:

This role covers the Brooklyn, NY area with up to 50% travel.

Anticipated Base Pay : Starting at $65,000+ and participation in our uncapped sales incentive plan. We are open to going significantly higher based on your experience and skill set.
