We seek a dynamic Regional EHSS Manager to provide essential field support and champion our comprehensive Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) programs. Reporting to our Director of Employee Health, Safety & Security, you will play a pivotal role in driving a culture of safety and excellence throughout our operations.

SUMMARY:

The Regional Employee Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) Manager is responsible for leading the implementation, oversight, and continuous improvement of Go Rentals’ EHSS programs within an assigned multi‑state region. This position supports a proactive and compliant safety and security environment through policy enforcement, regulatory adherence, cross‑functional collaboration, and culture‑building efforts. The Regional EHSS Manager serves as a key liaison between field operations, corporate human resource/safety leadership, and business partners, ensuring alignment between safety protocols and Go Rentals’ operational excellence and Go Culture standards. The incumbent collaborates seamlessly with human resources/ risk management and field team management to drive continuous improvement.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Leadership and Compliance

Manage and execute EHSS initiatives and compliance protocols across multiple field locations in alignment with company policies, OSHA, DOT, EPA, and aviation safety regulations.

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective action implementation.

Oversee regional security operations, including access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response planning.

Lead incident investigations and facilitate root cause analysis to develop actionable solutions and track incident trends.

Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of safety metrics, incidents, and regulatory compliance for regional sites.

Strategic and Operational Collaboration

Collaborate with Human Resources, Risk Management, Legal, and Operations to ensure that safety and security are fully integrated into daily operations.

Advise regional and location leaders on safety risks, compliance expectations, and corrective actions.

Coordinate safety training programs for employees, supervisors, and managers, ensuring relevant, consistent, and effective content delivery.

Support the company’s business continuity and crisis management plans through regional readiness, training, and coordination with law enforcement or emergency personnel.

Go Culture Integration and Leadership

Promote and uphold Go Culture principles by aligning EHSS programs with company values of safety, respect, service, and excellence.

Serve as a cultural ambassador and role model by reinforcing desired behaviors and collaborating with leadership to ensure regional teams reflect the company’s cultural standards.

Participate in cultural assessments, pulse checks, and employee engagement initiatives related to safety, well‑being, and accountability.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position may provide guidance to field management, partners, vendors, or site‑based EHSS contacts. It will also support Location Managers, Area/Regional Managers, and Regional Directors in applying EHSS and cultural programs. The position does not have direct supervisory responsibility unless assigned.

This role operates in a professional work environment, with frequent travel required to meet field teams, partners, and vendors, attend industry events, and oversee EHSS operations. The Regional EHSS Manager is expected to uphold Go Rentals’ commitment to exceptional service and ensure alignment with the company’s high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors, including, without limitation, skill sets, education, shift worked, responsibilities, seniority, geographical market, merit, output, productivity, prior training or experience, and travel.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, industrial hygiene, aviation safety, or a related field is preferred or equivalent years of experience.

Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive EHSS experience, with at least 3 years in a multi‑site or regional capacity.

Aviation industry or ramp operations experience strongly preferred.

Proven success in delivering training and presentations to individuals and diverse groups.

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Flexibility to adapt to dynamic schedules, including weekends, evenings, holidays, and extensive travel (40%–60%).

Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License with a clean driving record and proof of auto insurance/insurability.

Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to meet residency requirements.

Certifications

NATA Safety 1st certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

OSHA 30‑Hour certification or equivalent required.

CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60–90 days.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

In‑depth knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable multi‑state safety regulations.

Strong leadership, coaching, and influencing skills across various teams and departments.

Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

High adaptability, creativity, and sound judgment in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.

Self‑starter with a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to excellence.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with safety management systems and incident tracking software.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

Must be able to work in varying conditions, including outdoor weather, airport ramp areas, industrial noise, and exposure to aircraft‑related smells.

Frequent transitions between indoor and outdoor environments with fluctuating temperatures and lighting.

Travel by car and air to regional locations is required.

Additional Essential Functions: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, sitting, standing, walking, bending and twisting, climbing, driving, flying between locations, pushing and pulling, speaking, writing, lifting, typing, filing, reading, and the adept use of a computer, telephone, mobile devices, calculator, copy machine, and fax machine.
