Job Summary The Territory Sales Manager will be the face of Oldcastle for our MoistureShield Decking brand within a designated territory. The position works closely with the Regional Sales Director and implements processes to grow business in the traditional two‑step distribution channel.
Job Location
This is a remote position where the candidate must live in Minneapolis, MN.
Job Responsibilities
Improve and lead the assigned territory to increase sales at retail lumber yards and assist with PK’s and special order of MoistureShield throughout the territory.
Lead and coordinate sales functions.
Coordinate and conduct training on our products for store personnel.
Represent MoistureShield and attend trade home shows to promote our product.
Investigate and, if applicable, resolve customer claims to reinforce the relationship between customer and local store.
Coordinate liaison between the sales department and other sales‑related units.
Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas for proposed client base expansion.
Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
Take responsibility for pull‑through sales to builders, architects, and homeowners.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 5+ years related experience in sales.
Experience in the building material space is a plus.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel up to 50% with occasional overnight travel.
Compensation
Base pay of $70,000 – $90,000.
Monthly commissions.
