Property Accountant Hybrid - $85K/yr
Join our growing team as a Property Accountant, where you’ll play a key role in supporting our expanding portfolio of industrial real estate assets! Partnering closely with our experienced Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee essential accounting functions, from managing A/R and A/P to handling tenant billings and financial reporting. This role also offers hands‑on experience in fund‑level accounting, budget preparation, and quarterly close processes. You’ll collaborate with tenants, property managers, and joint venture partners, ensuring clear and timely communication. What we offer:
Salary up to $80,000 base with potential for bonus

Responsibilities:
Carry out quarterly close activities, including the preparation of journal entries and reporting packages
Manage accounts receivable and payable, process invoice coding, and prepare monthly tenant billing and utility statements
Perform monthly reconciliation of bank, A/R, mortgage, and other balance sheet accounts
Support budget planning, fund accounting, and quarterly investor distributions
Handle data entry and system updates, including adding new leases and tracking revenue and expenses
Act as a primary contact for tenant billing inquiries, collections, and general questions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration
1-3 years of experience in commercial or industrial property accounting; residential experience will also be considered
Familiarity with Yardi and/or Juniper Square (preferred but not required)
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
