Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician

Work includes HVAC heating, cooling, boiler, chiller, and refrigeration systems. Applicants should be able to read and understand blueprints, communicate effectively with all other people on the job site, including our subcontractors, and represent TP Mechanical Contractors in a professional manner. Troubleshoot and solve HVAC rooftop units, make up air, boiler, chiller, and control system problems. Follows up with customers for quality assurance purposes and ensures customers are 100% satisfied. Acts as the senior technical support for other Service Techs. Can answer most technical questions and help with almost any issue. Attends, if needed, all job site and office meetings related to assigned projects. Dependable and able to work in emergency situations when called. Experience/Qualifications Required: 10-12 years commercial experience in plumbing, HVAC and refrigeration. HVAC and brazing license. HVAC chiller and boiler certifications are a plus. KY Journeymen license a plus. HVAC and refrigeration repair and installation. Able to use all specialty tools including Recovery Machine, Multi Meter, Combustion Analysis. Able to install equipment. Able to perform shift work. Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
