Position: BD / Capture Manager Full‑time, on‑site position based in Washington, DC.
Role Description The BD / Capture Manager role is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business development opportunities, leading capture strategies for new contracts, building strong client relationships, and collaborating across internal teams. The BD / Capture Manager will develop effective proposals, manage capture activities, and ensure alignment of strategies with business objectives. Regular reporting and analysis of market opportunities will also play a key part of their duties.
Responsibilities

Lead capture strategies for new contracts.
Build strong client relationships and collaborate across internal teams.

Qualifications
Proven expertise in business development, capture management, and partnership building.
Strong skills in proposal development and writing.
Experience with market analysis, evaluating opportunities, and conducting competitive intelligence.
Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
Leadership experience and ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with government contracting and RFP processes is a strong advantage.
Proficiency in organizational tools, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and BD/Proposal AI tools.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related area; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
