Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to drive our healthcare organization's operations and development. The COO will work closely with the CEO and the senior management team to strategize and implement operational policies and strategies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex healthcare operations, a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, and a passion for delivering high‑quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective operational performance.

Develop and implement operational plans, policies, and goals that further strategic objectives.

Lead capital planning initiatives, including property development and major equipment purchases.

Manage risk across the organization, implementing risk management strategies and ensuring compliance with all contracts, legal requirements, and insurance policies.

Oversee the delivery of high‑quality personal care services, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to healthcare regulations.

Manage the organization's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and the financial sustainability of the organization.

Oversee the delivery of social services, ensuring that they meet the needs of patients and comply with all relevant regulations.

Lead the development and implementation of training programs for staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge to deliver high‑quality care.

Oversee audits of the organization's operations, ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal requirements.

Lead project management initiatives, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Develop and implement a succession plan, ensuring the long‑term leadership of the organization.

Oversee the administration of the organization, ensuring efficient and effective support for its operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on operations management.

Proven experience in capital planning, risk management, contract management, and project management.

Deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including the delivery of personal care services and behavioral health services.

Proven experience in managing budgets and financial planning.

Experience in overseeing audits and ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal requirements.

Experience in property development and major equipment purchases.

Proven ability to develop and implement training programs.

Experience in managing social services in a healthcare setting.

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of professionals.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, patients, and stakeholders.

Strong strategic thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
