Activities Director – Seneca Hill Manor The Activities Director is responsible for planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and directing the activities programs at Seneca Hill Manor in accordance with Federal, State, and Local standards governing the facility. The Activities Director ensures that the emotional, recreational, social needs of the residents are met and maintained on an individual resident basis.
Responsibilities
Conduct and oversee the activities program for all nursing home residents.
Create engaging and meaningful activities for the residents.
Provide positive and engaging energy for residents and staff.
Be outgoing and able to think and create independently.
Takes initiative to engage residents in activities.
Demonstrate the ability to lead the activities department staff.
Create 5-star activities programs for the residents.
Lead the activities team by example and conduct regular meetings to seek input for new ideas.
Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required; Associate's Degree preferred.
Supervisory/management experience preferred.
Experience in long-term care preferred.
Compensation Pay Range: $55,000–$65,000 annually.
Employee salary is based on commensurate experience and other qualifications.
