A new restaurant with modern elevated Mexican cuisine is on its way from one of the best restaurant groups in the Bay Area, and we are seeking an energetic

General Manager

with 3‑5 years of experience in the Palo Alto or Peninsula area. Candidates with upscale dining backgrounds, new‑restaurant‑opening experience, and time spent with a prominent Bay Area hospitality are strongly preferred.

The name Alisio’s is inspired by los vientos alisios (the trade winds), which represent movement, connection, and vibrant coastal culture. Our restaurant aims to capture this spirit by highlighting bold Mexican flavors and genuine warmth, which is the key to our hospitality.

We are seeking an accomplished and polished

General Manager

to lead the debut of our newest Mexican concept in the heart of Menlo Park. This is a distinguished opportunity for our experienced hospitality professional to guide a world‑class opening and establish a standard of excellence from day one.

Ideal Candidate will have:

3‑5 years of tenure as a General Manager within a renowned, high‑end restaurant group

Demonstrated expertise in new restaurant openings at the premium level

Exceptional leadership presence with a refined understanding of high‑touch guest service

Deep operational knowledge, including financial acumen, team development, and brand stewardship

Strong ability to maintain the highest standards of hospitality, discretion, and professionalism

A poised, strategic thinker who excels in sophisticated, fast‑paced environments within the NRO environment

Key Responsibilities:

Lead all phases of the opening process – from pre‑launch planning to operational execution

Recruit, train, and inspire a team capable of delivering elevated and intuitive service

Uphold the brand standards while curating an unforgettable guest experience

Partner with ownership and culinary leadership to execute vision and maintain consistency

Oversee financial performance, forecasting, inventory management, and operational excellence

Foster a culture of refinement, integrity, and genuine hospitality

Emphasize a team‑first mentality, prioritizing “Us” over “Me” in all interactions

Work in Front‑of‑House (FOH) and Back‑of‑House (BOH) leadership teams, and hire, train, and develop personnel across the organization

Vice President (VP) of Restaurant Operations
