About The Role
Leads Neurocrine’s pharmacy channel strategy across 3PL, specialty distributors, and pharmacy partners. Develops and executes distribution strategies that improve patient access, prescriber experience, and operational performance. Oversees evaluation, contracting, and performance management of all pharmacy channel partners. Collaborates closely with National Accounts, Trade, Patient Services, Marketing, Medical, Supply Chain, and Finance. Serves as Neurocrine’s internal expert on pharmacy channel strategy and represents the organization externally.
Responsibilities
Lead strategy and performance goals for all pharmacy channel business reviews.
Anticipate and identify trends, access opportunities, and service gaps across SPs, SDs, 3PL, and key independents.
Establish, monitor and optimize KPIs for all pharmacy channel partners.
Serve as the strategic lead partnering with Sr. Director of Trade, National Account Directors (NADs), and (CAMs).
Evaluate partner requests, align with business objectives, and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
Lead Trade & Distribution strategic priorities (QBRs, KPIs, service models, enhanced services).
Represent Neurocrine at national industry meetings and communicate insights to leadership.
Partner with Market Access (MA) Marketing on pharmacy‑facing materials.
Evaluate and monitor IRA/MFP impacts and recommend strategic channel adjustments.
Track 340B purchasing and contract pharmacy trends; develop updated policies.
Assess, design and recommend new distribution models (DTC, forward‑deployed inventory, etc.).
Lead development of distribution models and channel readiness for pipeline products.
Design therapy/product specific distribution models for pipeline products (Major Depressive Disorder & schizophrenia) that remove barriers to both patient and HCP while ensuring business needs are both considered and met.
Provide channel insights into demand forecasting, budget planning, and brand QBR needs.
Lead contracting, onboarding, and performance oversight of distribution partners.
Define clear criteria for pharmacy network expansion and collaborate with RPAM Directors on evaluation and integration of new partners.
Educate and influence internal teams on channel capabilities and strategy.
Manage the Gross‑to‑Net (GTN) impact of pharmacy services.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and corporate policies.
Requirements
BS/BA with 12+ years pharmaceutical trade/channel experience, or
Master’s/MBA with 10+ years relevant experience
PharmD preferred
Recognized expert in pharmacy strategy and conversion
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actions
Extensive experience with SPs, SDs, independent pharmacies, and reimbursement models
Proven specialty pharmacy contracting expertise
Strong financial and business acumen, including GTN
Commercialization and launch experience; preferably within CNS or other specialty therapeutic areas, with proven ability to design and implement channel readiness plans
Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring high‑level professionals, influencing cross‑functional teams, and driving alignment across senior stakeholders.

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $199,000.00–$271,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 35% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
