Lead Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building deep, trusted relationships with boards, C‑suite executives, and legal counsel.
Drive business development and cross‑sell governance and compensation advisory services, expanding your book of business.
Deliver high‑impact presentations, proposals, and thought leadership to clients and at industry events.
Governance, Legal And Compensation Advisory
Advise clients on best practices in corporate governance, board composition, ESG, and shareholder engagement.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex governance and compensation documents, including proxy statements, compensation plans, and board policies.
Interpret and apply regulatory developments (SEC, stock exchange requirements) and proxy advisor policies to client situations.
Strategic Guidance & Stakeholder Engagement
Develop and implement long‑term governance strategies that align with organizational objectives and investor expectations.
Counsel clients on engagement strategies with investors and proxy advisory firms, including preparation for annual meetings and shareholder proposals.
Leverage your legal, investor, or proxy‑advisor experience to anticipate and address emerging governance risks and opportunities.
Team Leadership & Knowledge Sharing
Mentor and develop junior consultants; provide technical guidance and feedback.
Lead workshops and training sessions for board members and executives on governance, fiduciary duties, compensation design, and legal trends.
Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
Data Analysis & Thought Leadership
Oversee the collection and interpretation of governance, ESG, and compensation data to inform client recommendations.
Author white papers, articles, and presentations to enhance Aon's market presence and thought leadership.

Salary range (U.S. applicants): $160,000 – $210,000 annually, adjusted for location, experience, and market data.
