Position Overview The
Director of Retail Sales
is a strategic and hands‑on leader, with multi‑store retail management experience, a strong background in home furnishings and consultative selling, and exceptional ability to coach teams and drive cultural change. Hawaii’s leading home furnishings retailer seeks a dynamic Director of Retail Sales to oversee multi‑brand, multi‑store operations across the islands. This role drives sales growth, elevates customer experience, and builds a high‑performing culture through hands‑on leadership and strategic execution. The position offers an opportunity to shape retail strategy for a well‑established organization serving value, mid‑range, and luxury segments.
Responsibilities
Lead retail sales operations across multiple stores and brands.
Set and achieve sales goals, budgets, and key performance metrics.
Coach and develop store managers to foster accountability and growth.
Ensure exceptional customer experience and showroom standards.
Implement and refine sales processes and consultative selling strategies.
Partner with cross‑functional teams to support seamless operations.
Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to maintain competitive edge.
Skills

Flexible schedule with ability to travel between islands.
Must reside on Oahu or be willing to relocate.
Experience in commissioned or consultative sales environments is a plus.
Compensation:
$125,000 to $175,000 with a substantial performance‑based bonus
