Executive Vice President, Enterprise Platform Business Development
Our client is a digital media SaaS platform that gives digital content operators and creators a full-service distribution, monetization, and community ecosystem without losing control of their data, audience, or brand identity. Partners receive their own customized platform deployment, integrated monetization tools, a connected ad stack, community features, and crypto based rewards for high value contributors.
Our vision is to bring premium media brands onto one scalable platform that delivers better economics, better tech, and a more direct relationship with audiences.
We are now expanding our enterprise and digital content footprint. This role will drive revenue share partnerships, onboard high value publishers, and become the go-to platform for next generation media publishing, distribution and monetization.
Role Overview As EVP of Enterprise Platform Business Development, you will own the strategy, pipeline, and execution of major media partnerships. You will lead revenue share deals, large publisher conversions, and integrated platform launches. You will work directly with the CEO, exec team, product, and engineering to shape our growth model and expand our ecosystem of premium media brands.
This is a senior operator role. You must be able to meet with boards, negotiate with CEOs, and guide partners technically and commercially without requiring heavy rebuilds or long enterprise cycles.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Growth and Partnerships
Build and execute the enterprise business development strategy focused on revenue share, traffic lift, and media monetization expansion.
Target professionally run media brands, large content networks, and established creators who want better economics and data ownership.
Position as a “biz in a box” solution that replaces legacy stacks, reduces cost, and increases RPMs and traffic.
Deal Execution
Develop and close performance aligned models (Rev share), often structured as 50/50 or performance-based growth models.
Present solutions to Executives.
Lead high level negotiations, contract terms, and integration planning.
Partner Enablement
Work cross-functionally to onboard partners quickly, with an average cycle of 2 to 3 months.
Support partners with built-in ad stack, video hosting, data tools, and distribution channels.
Help partners migrate from legacy systems without a full rebuild of their existing apps or infrastructure.
Technology and Ecosystem Leadership
Position our platform as a better, faster, more scalable alternative to traditional publishing tech.
Communicate the value of our connected ad stack, contextual data layer, and optional blockchain-backed rewards.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to align partner requests with roadmap priorities.
Track shifts across digital media, creator economy, and Web3 infrastructure.
Identify trends and opportunities where we can expand revenue, improve partner performance, or integrate new monetization layers.
Leadership and Team Development
Mentor and develop BD staff as the team grows.
Build a pipeline system that supports predictable revenue forecasting and partner success.
Serve as a senior representative at industry events, conferences, and media gatherings.
Requirements and Qualifications Must Have
8 plus years in business development, media partnerships, enterprise SaaS, or digital publishing.
Proven track record closing large deals with media companies, creator networks, or tech platforms.
Ability to speak fluently to CEOs, boards, investors, and strategic partners.
Strong financial and commercial acumen including revenue share modeling and value based pricing.
Preferred
Experience with ad tech, video distribution, community platforms, or Web3 ecosystems.
Background in scaling media products or building enterprise partnership programs.
Hands‑on approach with the ability to work directly with leadership, move fast, and adapt quickly.
Past experience with smaller but professionally run media brands that want better tech and bigger monetization opportunities.
Bonus points for: Experience working within blockchain, crypto, or Web3 ecosystems, especially around tokenized rewards or decentralized media infrastructure.
