Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr
GPAC is partnered with a heavy equipment dealership looking for a General Manager with a strong background in operations, sales, and service management near the Birmingham area. We are seeking a candidate that will bring a balance of leadership and mechanical understanding to oversee daily operations and long‑term strategy. The right candidate would have a strong background in heavy equipment sales and training sales personnel.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5+ years of experience in dealer recruitment, sales, or network development within the heavy equipment industry as a Branch or General Manager.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Excellent financial management.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, build consensus, and influence decision‑making at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret multiple levels of data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- Ability to develop and execute long‑term strategic plans for dealer network growth and development.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with dealers.
- $150‑$160k base salary
